Hello, I’m Christopher.
I grew up in Indiana, studied mathematics and physics, and moved west after completing a PhD at the University of Chicago. I now live in Los Angeles, where I’m raising my young daughter and building Darwin, a consumer healthcare company I cofounded with my brother Robbie. Before Darwin, I cofounded Polycam and remain on its board.
Outside work, I’m usually reading, playing music, hiking, traveling, or paying closer attention to architecture than the occasion requires. This site is a quiet record of where I’ve been, what I’m working on, and some of the things I find worth thinking about.

Building a clearer way to navigate health.
I’m building Darwin with my brother Robbie. We’re working on consumer healthcare with the belief that useful products begin by making complex systems easier to understand and act on.
Before Darwin, I cofounded Polycam and remain on its board. The medium has changed; the underlying interest in turning difficult technology into intuitive tools has not.
